Taper support
Quit weed, vapes, nicotine pouches or cigarettes gradually, at a pace your body can handle.
How does the taper work?
You tell Taper what you use and how much. It cuts your daily amount in even weekly steps, moves your first use later each week, and eases you down a little each day in the final week, reaching zero on your quit date.
What does it cost?
Taper Annual is $29.99 a year, and new subscribers get the first week free. Prices may differ outside the US. You can start the free week on the first day of your plan. It renews every year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current year. The optional measuring days before your plan, the sample data, and the Toolkit (craving help and help lines) are always free.
How do I cancel?
In Taper, open Settings (tap your avatar, top right) → Taper Annual → Manage subscription. You can also cancel in the iPhone Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
I already subscribed. How do I get it back?
Open Settings (tap your avatar, top right) → Taper Annual → Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with. If you bought the earlier one-time unlock, Restore brings that back too, and it still works for good.
I went over my limit. Now what?
That’s okay, and it doesn’t undo your progress. Taper asks what triggered it and lets you keep going or hold your current step for another week.
Where is my data?
Only on your phone. Taper has no account and no server. Deleting the app or tapping “Reset my data” erases everything. See the privacy policy.
Reminders aren’t showing up
In Taper, open Settings → Notifications and turn on Daily check-in. Then make sure notifications for Taper are allowed in the iPhone Settings app → Notifications.
